The League of NH Craftsmen presents the
75th Annual Craftsmen’s Fair
The League of New Hampshire Craftsmen
Like their early colonial forebearers, New Hampshire craftspeople today are keeping the state's heritage of fine craftsmanship alive - from furniture making and metal smithing to glass blowing and pottery making. Helping to keep this tradition alive for the past 75 years is the League of NH Craftsmen, a non-profit arts organization whose mission is to encourage, nurture and promote the creation, use and preservation of fine craft through the inspiration and education of artists and the broader community.
The Fair is enjoyed by all ages and features 350 League juried craftspeople whose work is available in 200 booths and five exhibitions; activities include 18 workshops for adults and children, 21 craft demonstrations, educational tours to learn more about specific craft techniques, musical performances, food, child care and free parking – please leave pets at home. A special 75th birthday bash is planned for Thursday, August 7 with a dinner and a concert by folk and blues musician Tom Rush followed by fireworks. See the Leagues’ website for tickets and information at www.nhcrafts.org.
Don't miss this opportunity to spend a few days in the beautiful Lake Sunapee Region and take in the artistic pride of New Hampshire's top artisans and craftsmen.
