Newbury, NH – (March 5, 2007) – 2007-2008 Mount Sunapee season passes went on sale Saturday, March 3rd at special rates that are good until April 30, 2007.

Mount Sunapee season passes may be a bit of a misnomer as not one pass product offered includes skiing or snowboarding at only Mount Sunapee Resort.  There are passes available that include Mount Sunapee and Okemo Mountain, VT - Mount Sunapee, Okemo and Stratton Mountain, VT - and Mount Sunapee, Okemo, Stratton and Crested Butte Resort in Colorado.

There are also options as to when the season pass starts.  There is a Renewal/Pre-Buy rate for current pass holders or someone that wants to take advantage of the spring pricing, but not start skiing or riding until the fall of 2007.  There is a New Buyer rate for those who want to ski and ride for the remainder of this season and next season too.  For less than the cost of two day tickets a New Buyer can add on the last five weeks of this season plus ski or ride all of next season.

The most popular pass is the Peak Pass that includes unlimited skiing and riding at Mount Sunapee and skiing and riding seven days a week at Okemo excluding holiday periods.  There’s also a 30% discount off multi-day tickets at Crested Butte any day of the week.  The adult Renewal/Pre-Buy price is $749 and the New Buyer rate is $869.

The Ultra Pass is the ultimate season pass product.  It includes unlimited skiing and riding at four premier resorts: Mount Sunapee, Okemo, Stratton and Crested Butte.  The adult Renewal/Pre-Buy price is $1,269 and the New Buyer rate is $1,375.

The Value Pass Plus, now in its third season, is an extremely popular product.  It includes skiing and riding seven days a week excluding holiday periods at Mount Sunapee, Okemo and Stratton for the attractive adult Renewal/Pre-Buy price of $579.  The New Buyer rate is $689.

There’s the Midweek Super Pass that includes Mount Sunapee, Okemo and Stratton during midweek, non-holiday periods for only $295 at the Renewal/Pre-Buy rate and $349 at the New Buyer rate.  The Super Senior Midweek Pass for Mount Sunapee and Okemo is only $209 at the Renewal/Pre-Buy rate and $259 at the New Buyer rate.  These midweek products include a 20% discount off multi-day tickets at Crested Butte.

Mount Sunapee is positioned for one of its best March and early April periods ever.  Over three feet of snow has fallen since mid-February and 50 trails are stockpiled with a 42-54 inch base.

Rates vary depending on age.  Adult rates are for skiers and riders ages 19-64.  Young adults are 13-18, juniors are 6 -12, seniors are 65-69 and super seniors are 70+.  Children 5 and under ski or ride free with a ticketed adult.

These great spring values on season passes can be purchased on-line at mountsunapee.com/seasonpass or by calling 603-763-3500.  These rates are only valid until April 30, 2007.
