Okemo Mountain Resort is seeking a qualified individual to join our full-time year round team. The ideal candidate will support daily payroll functions to include maintaining personnel files, assisting with garnishments, security of records and payment processing for bi-weekly payrolls in a multi-company/state environment. This position requires strong and accurate data entry skills as well as attention to detail with a minimum of two years previous payroll experience. Internet Marketing Manager
Full-Time/Year-Round - The Internet Marketing Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the development and design of Okemo Mountain Resort’s website including content development and implementation. Collaboration and communication with department heads is central to developing strategic online messaging, topical web pages, and e-commerce as well as consultation with the Information Technology department. Additional responsibilities include maintaining web updates for external websites, tracking web performance statistics and effectiveness of marketing campaigns, administer and manage Okemo’s blog, design and deliver internet banner ads, maintain and support relationships with third party vendors, maintenance of live cameras on the mountain, and work with the marketing team to develop an effective online marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of HTML, CMS systems, CRM systems, Microsoft Word and Excel, PCI compliance, be adept at social media platforms such as Twitter, facebook, YouTube, and Instagram, a strong understanding of social media trends, experience with video editing, photography and Photoshop software, as well as strong graphic design skills. Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel for business, work weekends and holidays, and ski or snowboard at an advanced level. A Bachelor’s degree is required along with two years of related work experience and/or a recent college graduate with coursework in marketing-related fields. Okemo’s culinary operations are centered on providing the best culinary options for our guests while providing top notch and friendly service. The variety and caliber of our 18 outlets range from full-service fine dining to casual dining, cafeteria style outlets and food kiosks. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall culinary operations at Okemo Mountain Resort. Preparation of the annual budget to achieve company goals through forecasting, cost controls, labor and revenue management. Leadership and guidance of culinary managers to include decision making, goal setting/implementation, policies and procedures, and team building. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years progressive leadership experience with culinary operations to include driving and executing strategy, be able to lead by example, have familiarity with Vermont State Liquor Regulations and Health Standards and a valid driver’s license.
